JOSEPH ADOMAKO, Msc

Research

Currently working on my project in the laboratory of Dr. Michael Schnoor, in the Department for Molecular Biomedicine at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies, IPN-Mexico City. I seek to investigate bone marrow niche and its contribution to leukemia development, progression, and conferment of chemoresistance to malignant cells leading to failure of treatment and disease relapse. I would focus on the interplay between two proteins, cortactin and ActivinA, in mesenchymal stromal (stem) cells, which may be advantageous for leukemic cells. .

Education and Training

  • Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Haematology at the University of Ghana, Ghana

  • I was offered a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences for my undergraduate studies, also at the University of Ghana.
